This digital Betamax can zoom in on a specific section of the picture. While viewing the playback, a TV program or a picture from the LINE IN. By pressing the ZOOM button, the center portion of the picture will enlarge to fill the entire screen. To change the portion of the picture to be zoomed pressing the EFFECT + will cycle forward through the five areas to enlarge. These are the center, then the upper left quadrant, the right, the lower left, and the lower right. Pressing the / – button will cause this action in reverse order. Note: ZOOM can be activated during multi-strobe, freeze frame, stop-motion, flash-motion, or recall modes.
Sound is heard during operation. To resume normal viewing, press ZOOM again or DIGITAL OFF. For information on the digital VCRs, click here.
