This Digital Betamax can zoom in on a specific section of the picture. While viewing the playback, a TV program or a picture from the LINE IN pressing the ZOOM button the center portion of the picture will enlarge it to fill the entire screen. To change the portion of the picture to be zoomed pressing the EFFECT + will cycle forward through the five areas to enlarge. These are the center then the upper left quadrant, the right, lower left and the lower right. Pressing / – button will cause this action in reverse order. Note: ZOOM can be activated during multi-strobe, freeze frame, stop-motion, flash-motion or recall modes.
