Some of the digital VCRs have effects that can be operated together allowing for some interesting picture combinations. These are: Multi-strobe allows the selection of an individual section to be zoomed. Zoom can be activated in Freeze frame, Stop motion, Flash motion or Recall. Flas-motion: Zoom, Mosaic Art and Flash motion mode can be activated. Stop-motion: Zoom, Mosaic Art and Picture Art mode can be activated. Picture Art: can be used in Freeze frame, Stop motion, Flash motion or Recall. Mosaic Art: can be used in Freeze frame, Stop-motion, Flash motion or Recall. Recall mode: Zoom, Mosaic Art and Picture Art mode can be activated. Picture-in-picture: cannot be activated from Freeze frame or Slow motion. Some effects that will be cancelled or erased during some digital functions are PIP, Stop motion, Flash motion and Multi strobe. Other digital modes that will cancel or be erased are Freeze frame, Slow motion, Betascan, BetaSkipscan, Locked picture search and Digital scan when using the remote.
