This column has additional information located inside the parentheses. These are links that will open and provide you with more details. The name of a foreign country or the word "global" means that this model was designed to sell outside the USA. Some of these Betas were able to play the foreign SECAM or the PAL TV standards in addition to the NTSC system used in the USA.
