This Digital Betamax can produce a small inset picture inside the playback video. While viewing the playback pressing the P in P button will produce a subsidiary picture in the lower right of the screen. This picture can come from the tuner or the LINE IN. The channel of the inset picture can be selected by pressing the CHANNEL + / – buttons. Pressing the P in P button a second time will cause the two images to reverse. The inset picture will then show the playback from the VCR. The location of the inset picture can changed. Pressing the EFFECT + / – buttons will cause the subsidiary picture to move in order forward or in reverse from to each corner. Note: Cannot be activated from a freeze picture or slow-motion. PIP mode releases if any of the transport buttons are pressed or by pressing DIGITAL OFF. Sound is heard during this operation. For information on the digital VCRs click here.
