This Digital Betamax can produce a solarization effect in three levels. While viewing the playback, a TV program or a picture from the LINE IN pressing the PICTURE ART button will cause the picture to display solarization that Sony calls Picture Art. The level of the change can be controlled by pressing the EFFECT + / – buttons. When the effect is canceled the normal playback will resume and the tape will have moved forward, since it has continued to run. In the case of a TV program or LINE IN the incoming content will have advanced. Note: Can be activated in stop-motion, flash-motion or recall modes.
