This Digital Betamax can freeze the picture. While viewing the playback, a TV program or a picture from the LINE IN pressing the STOP MOTION button will cause the picture to freeze. When the stop motion is canceled the normal playback will resume the tape will have moved forward, since it has continued to run. In the case of a TV program or LINE IN the incoming content will have advanced. Note: zoom, picture art or mosaic modes can be activated in stop-motion.
Sound is heard during operation. To resume normal viewing press DIGITAL OFF.
