Time search is a feature available for rewind or fast forward. It is used to find a particular location on a tape by the elapsed time. This is done using the VCR's remote commander. Pressing TIME SEARCH will change the display of the VCR to show a START (starting point or present tape location) and an END (stopping point). Entering the hours and minutes into the VCR from the remote will register in the end location in the display. Pressing fast-forward or reverse will cause the tape to wind to the ending location entered and stop. The starting point remains unchanged. If playback is desired after winding, pressing play after starting the function will cause the button to blink.
