Top right of the cassette entryway shows the SL-HF360 has had the front panel buttons removed. These were for setting the REC MODE, CLOCK, TV/VTR, etc. The switches located on the circuit board beneath them can be clearly seen. This modification prevented tampering with the tape speed. Not shown is the record level knob that was also set and then removed. The back of the cabinet is seen below. The added jack went to the remote sensor so the VCR could be centrally controlled.
