This Beta has a tape recognition system. It uses an LED emitter and detector to sense if the tape is in the correct position for threading. If the tape does not break the beam between the two threading will aborted and the cassette will be ejected. This prevents tape damage and false recordings. Ejection is an indication that the tape has either threaded incorrectly, missed the detector or the tape is broken. ©Misterßetamax go to homepage
