This Beta will indicate when a recording is being made is the SuperBeta picture mode. This will then produce video that is 20% improved over the already superior standard Beta picture. To take advantage of this attribute the SuperBeta has to be ON when recording. During playback placing the SuperBeta switch in the OFF position for these recordings can result in over modulation of the luminance portion on the video signal and cause sparkles, lines or spots. So can playing standard Beta recordings with the switch ON. Beta VCRs do not indicate whether a recording has been in made in SuperBeta or standard Beta. So if you see spots, comet tails or white lines and you don't know the video mode try moving the switch or pressing the button on and off to obtain the clearest video playback. Tracking should also be adjusted to obtain the best picture. ©Misterßetamax go to homepage |
