RENTAL BETA PLAYERS

These are quite rare today because most were thrown away after a couple of years use. Most didn't get treated very well but surprisingly the examples that survive are in quite good shape. Probably because a few didn't get much use. Especially if they were purchased just prior to a decline in Beta rentals. Many store owners wanted to profit from the beta rentals they already had on the shelves but when they didn't buy new titles it discouraged customers from looking at Beta. I know of three models of these but there might have been four. There is almost no information on these except for the service manuals. There were no owner's manuals because all the basic operating instructions were on the cases. This RB-100 is an altered Toshiba V-9030T Portable.
