The VC-46 shipped with the Toshiba V-S46 and V-S56. Functions include play, stop, slow, x2, scan in forward and reverse, pause, fast forward, rewind and tracking. Both tracking and scan speed can be adjusted from this remote. Also channel up/down buttons for accessing preset stations and a TV/VTR button. To place the VCR in record or audio dub requires pressing two buttons at once, this prevents accidental erasures. Red LED lights up to verify operations. Requires three AA batteries.
