The 5317 originally shipped with the Sears 564.53170450 VCR but carried over to several other of their models. Remote functions include power on, play, search in forward and reverse, pause/still, stop, fast forward and rewind. Channel up and down for stepping through TV stations preset into the VCR. Pressing two buttons are required for recording to prevent accidental erasure. TV/VCR button to select the signal output to the monitor. Requires two AA batteries.
