The RMT-V700 came with the multi-formt SL-700ME. It controls VCR power on/off, play, scan in forward and reverse, plus fast forward, rewind and stop. Two buttons +/- for stepping through preset VCR TV stations. Two buttons are pressed at the same time to start recording, to prevent accidental erasure. Requires two AA batteries.
