The RMT-149 was only shipped with the SL-700 and SL-HF650. It controls most of the basic functions found on most any Sony Betamax VCR. Buttons include the VCR on/off power button, direct channel tuning buttons 1 thru 0 and a +/- rocker for preset stations. There is also play, x2, pause, single frame, fast forward, rewind, scan, slow +/- and stop. Two button record sequence helps prevent accidental erasure. A red LED indicates operation.
