The RMT-125 operates the SL-HF900 and a compatible Sony TV. On the front is the VCR on/off power button, TV/VTR slide switch, AUX (auxiliary) button, enter, display, index and channel express tuning buttons for preset stations. There is also play, shuttle in forward and reverse, x1/5, x1, x2, pause, fast forward, rewind, scan and stop. A sliding record button switch engages recording while a hold switch prevents accidental stop. On the side is a TV/VTR button, a volume rocker switch for the TV and one for scanning TV or VCR channels up and down. A red LED indicates operation. Requires two AA batteries.
