The RB-78E shipped the only with the NEC VC-N738E. The remote functions include play, slow step x1/4, x1/10, x1/30, and pause/still. Also scan in forward and reverse, fast forward, rewind and stop. Up and down channel buttons for selecting TV stations programmed into the VCR. A TV/VTR to button select the RF output to TV. Two button must be pressed to record or for audio dub, this is to prevent accidental erasure. A red LED indicates operation. Uses two AA batteries.
