The HVR-4000 plugs into the HVC type cameras remote socket and gives you control over tape start/stop, fade in/out and zooming of the telephoto lens. A tally/batt LED lights up when recording is taking place and also flashes if the power to the camera is getting low (recorder battery getting exhausted). Another LED indicates when the fader has been activated. There is also a green ready indicator to let you know when your camera is ready to start shooting. Velcro® straps are provided for attaching it to your wrist, arm, etc. The cable is twenty feet long (6m). Compatible with all HVC type cameras. Powered by the camera.
