Each Betamax is refurbished from the inside out. The top panel and bottom covers are remove and compressed air is used to dislodge and remove any dust, tape shards, debris and any loose particles inside the VCR. Extra caution is taken to avoid causing any damage to delicate parts. Further cleaning is the executed using special swabs, cotton wads, tooth picks and cue tips saturated in moisture displacing solvent. The unit is then tested for mechanical and electrical operation.
