This Beta VCR can display pertinent information in the video picture. This on-screen display can be of the clock and timer settings, tape speed and direction, plus a lot more. The information is requested by using a button on the VCR or remote. It can be presented over a blue screen, black screen or over the picture, depending on the model. Some of the features and functions for are only available when using the remote and by referencing the screen data.
