This Beta VCR can display pertinent information in the video picture. This on-screen display can be of the clock and timer settings, tape speed and direction, plus a lot more. The information is requested by using a button on the VCR or remote. It can be appear over a blue screen, black screen or over the picture, depending on the model. This can be used to create title pages or tape data that can inserted into the video and serve as captions or overlays (see the SL-HF1000 review by clicking here).
