In order to operate a Beta it is necessary to input commands in some form or the other. The most obvious way is through the function buttons of a keypad array. Most machines will show if they have been used extensively by how much of a wear pattern has developed in the areas where the keys have been touched. In the photo above you can see that little or no wear is present on these buttons. This would indicate little or no amount of use with this Beta. But one can be fooled. I every command was issued by the remote then the keys might look good but offer no clues. A glance at the remote could tell a more accurate story. Click on the photo and examine the remote and you'll see that this one shows almost no wear. Once again these indicators are factors that will be added into an appraisal once all the data is added together. There is one more scenario where no wear is indicated on the keypad or remote, in production or slave machines that have been hard wire to a remote device. These machines rank high in visual appeal but once again all the factors must be added into the mix to get a true picture. Let's move on to the next step by clicking here.
