This Betamax provides a switch on the front that is used to select the source to record. The options are TUNER, for recording the TV (television broadcast) channels, CAMERA (K-Type socket provided), and LINE IN. Both the audio and video input are changed when LINE IN or CAMERA is selected. If using AUDIO DUB or MIC (microphone), only the audio source is changed. The switch position does not affect playback. The CAMERA, MIC, or A/V cables can remain connected regardless of the switch position.
