The HVC-2400 color Trinicon camera has a forward mounted electret condenser microphone for monaural audio. An external mic can be mounted to the camera using the accessory shoe and plugging it into the mini-plug jack on the side. Can also be used with the HVC-220 Camera Adapter to power the camera and break out the mono audio/video and pause lines. This allows it to be used as a stand alone camera or with any VCR with A/V and control inputs.
