FRONT PG, RF, CTL, AND GD TERMINALS

The SLO-1800 has four pins on the lower right front next to the hours clock that give the operator or technician easy access to important operations within the VCR. Left to right these are the PG or switching pulse output. This is to monitor the switching pulse that is being recorded on the control track of the tape during recording. The RF or video RF output. This used to verify the video signal being inputted to the VCR and to maintain the proper levels and pattern. The CTL or control pulse output to monitor the pulse coming from a prerecorded tape as it is being played. And the GND or case ground to complete the connection to the other three.
