This Betamax provides an option for playing back tapes at twice or three times the normal speed. Depending on the model design (see features list) sound will be heard and it too will be faster than normal. The audio can originate from the Betahi-fi stereo track or the conventional monaural audio track. Adjusting the MORM (normal) tracking control might be necessary to achieve the best picture and sound. To return to normal playback press the PLAY button. This feature will not function for tapes recorded in the mode.
