The SL-HF2100 will automatically open the front touch panel door under certain conditions. If a cassette is inside and EJECT is requested using the remote, the front door will open as the ejection cycle is taking place. It will do this whether the VCR is powered on or off. It will remain powered on if it was on prior to ejecting, and if it was off, it will turn back off. If no cassette is inside and the VCR is already on, pressing eject will open the door. Pressing eject when the unit is off will not open the door. As a safety measure, with a cassette inside, should the door be unable to open, the eject cycle will reverse and the cassette will be reloaded. ©Misterßetamax go to homepage
