The RMK-151 is an infrared receiver and remote combination that allows for any Sony VCR type component with the control-L (or control-Lf  ) connector to be controlled. Especially useful with units that have no remote control access, such as the GCS-50, EDC-55 or SLO-1800. By using a control-L extension cable the IR receiver can even be located in a different room or another part of the building. (A four pin DIN cable can be modified to act as a control-L extension cord.) The base unit has a on/off power button and both components have a switch for selecting IR channels 1 or 2. User friendly and it is easy to install. Includes two batteries.
