The RMR-151 can interpret infrared signals from any Sony Beta remote that broadcasts on channel 1 or 2. Even if it isn't the one for that came with that particular unit. Some of the Beta units that can be operated using the RMR-151 are the SL-HF1000, SL-HF3000, SL-HF750, EDW-30F, EDV-9500, EDV-9300, GCS-50, EDC-55 and SLO-1800 (with a mini-plug to DIN plug adapter). The RMR-151 can also operate Sony VTRs that are not Beta and most Sony accessories provided they have a control-L socket.
