The modified RM-C6K kit includes an infrared receiver, a remote with batteries and a power supply. The RMR-210 base station plugs into the remote socket in the front of a SL-2300 or SL-2305 VCR. When used the companion RMT-210 remote it provides wireless control of several basic functions. This include pause/freeze, rewind, fast forward and scan in forward and reverse. The base station is powered by the included 9 volt DC power supply. The remote uses two AA batteries. Other Sony Beta remotes that broadcast on VTR channel 1 can be used with the base station.
