Using an optional Control-T cable between two compatible Beta VCRs provides two-way communication for various editing functions, such as pre-roll editing and assemble editing. For more about editing, click here. The Control-T interface is only found on four USA models: the SL-HF1000, EDV-9300, EDV-9500, and EDW-30F (and the Japanese SL-HF3000).
