This Betamax has an AC outlet (socket) on the back for supplying power to an external accessory. This polarized socket can be used to supply continuous 110 volts AC to a connected device. It is not switched by the VCR and is not protected by a separate fuse. Consult the features list for the wattage rating of the outlet.
