COGGED REEL TABLE ILLUSTRATION

The reel table in this photo is the type that doesn't use a separate motor(s) to drive the reels. Replacing the motor is a set of gears that are driven with a cogged (toothed) belt that runs off the capstan motor hub shown in the previous panel. One of the gears of the set can be seen to the immediate left of the pendulum. The belt can be seen easily seen running between the two pulleys. To go back to ROTATION DETECTION click here. |
