NICE EXAMPLE (GOOD CANDIDATE)
When examining a Beta for the purposes of estimating its value one must become a detective and look for clues that will give insight as to the kind of life it has had and how much it has suffered. Some clues are obvious and some are not so obvious. What follows in this new or refurbished appraisal section is a look at some of the visual indicators that point to how to value (or devalue) an item. There are also mechanical and electrical considerations and they will be covered later in this discussion. Let's look at the photo above. Here you see a clean bottom panel with no scratches, dents or corrosion. No dark smudges can be found from acetic residue left by handling. A lower panel such as this one would illustrate a like new or refurbished condition and would receive a favorable indication for evaluation and appraisal.
