Load the cassette into your Beta recorder and press the "Play" button. Watch the video playback and stop the tape when it becomes clear and sharp. Adjust tracking if necessary. The video heads are now cleaned. Cleaning cassette will not harm your video heads.

DO NOT REWIND tape after each use, only when it reaches the end.

The reference picture and cleaning results will degrade over time. Based on an average use time of about five seconds this tape should perform 100 operations before it needs replacing.

If the picture will not clear or cleaning becomes frequent, professional servicing might be needed. If the video heads become worn beyond their operational life expectancy, repeated cleaning will not clear the picture.
